For a long time I thought I was going to be a veterinarian when I grew up. I’m all grown up now, and I’m not. I really wanted to have one of the careers with animals that I had heard about, but it never worked out that way for me. I remember in tenth grade a friend and I planned to go to college together and eventually open up our own animal hospital and care for stray and abandoned animals in our free time. Though I didn’t go that way in the end, I still like to give donations to help animals that need it.

There are many careers with animals you can go for, and being a veterinarian is just one of them. There are jobs in zoos for those who love animals, and there are a ton of different jobs there for those that are interested. Though he is gone, he may have inspired the next great champion for animals who will follow in his footsteps.
