I work for a relatively small manufacturing company that is looking for ways to improve many of its regular business processes. Towards that end, the company has offered a substantial bonus to any employee that completes Six Sigma green belt training on his or her own time. A Six Sigma green belt training course would introduce employees to the basic concepts of this program and help them understand how to implement the various procedures involved. The president of my company had already completed master black belt certification and would oversee the deployment of Six Sigma methodology.

After a bit of research on the Internet, I found that a lot of companies and schools offer online Six Sigma green belt training. With an online program, I would be able to complete the coursework whenever it was convenient for me. By working on my Six Sigma green belt training late at night after everyone else has gone to bed or early in the morning before everyone wakes up, I would be able to get my certification while still being able to spend time with my family. Plus, I discovered that many of these online Six Sigma green belt training courses would cost far less than the ones recommended by my company. I was definitely getting a better deal all around.

My online Six Sigma green belt training program is now underway. Although the extra work is a bit difficult to handle at times, I know that certification will ultimately help me career. Not only will I get a bonus from my company, but I'll also be able to list my Six Sigma green belt training on my resume anytime I want or need to look for another job. In other words, this certification will pay off for many, many years to come.
